Welcome to Crossbar Challenge Blog!

This site is an unofficial guide to the Crossbar Challenge as seen on Sky TV’s Soccer AM. For those that don’t know, this is a feature on the TV programme where the members of a football team take turns to try and hit the crossbar of a goal with a ball kicked from the halfway line of the pitch.

This blog aims to be the best internet resource of everything relating to the Crossbar Challenge and features links and embedded videos of all the teams that have attempted the challenge. Everyday I check all over the internet to find new videos or news that I can add to the blog.

I think it’s fair to say that the challenge itself looks very difficult indeed and I take no small pleasure in seeing some players from non-Premiership teams having more success than their more glamorous Premiership rivals. I also believe that defenders and goalkeepers have an advantage as the skills required to hit the crossbar from the halfway line are more in line with the skills they require for their day jobs.
